Goodbye 2008

After few more hours it will be year 2009! I will be at home, counting down. haha! how about you?

A year of army life in dog platoon, time was really fast. From a newbie to a "old bird" in camp lol! perhaps there will no love life, that's why I'm carefree.. haha! nonsense.

This morning there was a funny incident.. A guy walked past me at the canteen and say a hi, my mind was thinking "do i know you?" but I say hi back..He start off the conversation and he said know I'm a dog handler + driver, haha! Wow.. I didn't know I'm famous in camp.

Thanks to my campmates, you know who you are.. helped me alot of time in camp especially my duties.. I really appreciate it. =)

And campmates trained me to be a better drinker.. haha! Birthdays, ORD celebration were all held at pub.. oh man! haha..

No worries in 2008, a year I went back to study again. During next year july, I hope I can find a decent job to work. Well also, I'm thinking to get a part time job as dog trainer, and I have check out what is the basic requirement to be a dog trainer.

Studies.. 19 Jan 2009, starts of my new semester. Study hard!

And I really hope my army life continue to goes smoothly.. =)

Samuel's 21st birthday, 091208

It was Samual's 21st birthday celebration and also a gathering for all of us..Ex Swensen's staff. =)

Just nice that Amy post this photos in her facebook, and I took some of the photos for blogging.. haha!

I was late for the celebration.. haha! Because that day I was rushing back home from Malaysia (go karting) to change up.. arrr! everyone were waiting for me to order the food.

The resturant is Sha Villa. Anyone heard of it? It is a place for all the Shatec students for their internship. Xiang Hui is one of the assistant chef, we went to support his "cooking skills". haha!

KartingEdge's 1st Anniversary Race

Last saturday, We (Andre, his girlfriend Stephanie, Sherwin and I) went to Plentong International Karting Circuit, Malaysia to take part the first anniversary fun race organised by KartingEdge.

Thanks to Andre, one of the organiser for helping me to register in this event and Sherwin drove all the way to Plentong, Malaysia.

This event consist of 3 heats race, each heat have 10 racer.

And top 3 racers with the fastest lap of the 3 heats win the trophy.

Surprisingly Sherwin, Andre and I were in the different heats. haha! If not, it will be very fun. =)

Keith's 23rd Birthday

I planned to rent a manual car for Keith's birthday.. Two weeks ago, I called the rent car company to book the car in advance as I know Manual is quite popular for renting.

However when I reached the place to get the car.. THEY TOLD ME, right now we only have auto car.. What?! I was stunned. They should call my hp before I reached there.. this is call customer service?! But anyway I took an auto car to pick up Keith from work. Guess what?! The brake light was spolit.. and I was extremely angry, it was too dangerous to drive on the road. =(

Keith found out the brake light was spolit because he was driving his car behind me.

We went back to return the car immediately. We asked for their explaination, and refund of money but don't know what reason they said account was closed. And they can only give my a voucher vaild for 3months to rent any car. You think I still dare to rent their cars?! NO brake lights.. what the hell?!

Side track..

After we settled the argument with the rent car company, Keith drove his car to The Heeren for dinner, NYDC.

He was looking at his girlfriend. haha!

Mandy and Mr birthday boy.

Since primary 1, this year is our 16 years of friendship.. still the same.

Dave was not free, he is on platoon sergant course till 12 Dec.

After he sent Mandy home, we sat down at our usual badminton court for a chat.. =)

Listening ear

This month is DECEMBER! end of the year.. that's fast.

Sorry friends, this year's christmas I cannot make it for the gathering. I got duties for both Eve and Christmas day. I will make sure I can celebrate Christmas with you all next year! haha.. by then, I already ORD. =)

Finally, last weekends event was over. I was at home only a few hours then I'm back to camp, but luckily I got an off day.. haha! save it for next year.

Recently, most of the new guys came to look for me. They will telling me how the feel among the shift people. I heard many stories but I guess why they don't want to tell ICs like Michael, Louis etc.. Its true, shift man hardly licked with ICs.. anyway I'm waiting for my ORD date only. haha!
The date will appeared on nest year's calendar.

This week, most of my campmates are going to ORD. All the best to you guys. =)

Exams results is releasing soon? I did badly, that's it.. I should face it.

One step at a time

Finally, I can take a long break.. next year jan then back to school.

At the meantime, I'm full time national service man. haha! No more leaves to take, I'm will be in camp for duties next month. But at least I able to book out everyday. =)

For the past few weeks, I was at Yuhua CC study room with Ji Hao, preparing for my examinations. Well, Marketing was tough and I did badly for the paper. 15 marks question "gone case"!

Mr Lau Poh Hua's 21st birthday is coming! He has invited all of our platoon mates to his party on this coming saturday.

Its been a long time since I step into examination class.

You know what?! I couldn't sleep last night (Thursday). haha! scare I failed..

Study means well prepared? If questions didn't come out from the textbook?

And the exam paper starts at 11am, friday. I got stomach cramp when I reached there.

Haiz.. I have to get used to the pressure. Its a computer test, you will know the results once I click 'End'. Luckily I passed this exam. =) If not I will not have mood to blog.. haha!

Next paper is on 14 Nov, I took a small break for now..

After lunch with my schoolmates at Bukit Merah Food Centre, I went back home and had a good nap.

Just now, Keith and I walked around Bukit Batok, reached quite alot of 'checkpoints', sat there and chat then back to our usual meeting place, the badminton court.. haha!

4 hours of non stop chatting.. Yes! After so many days staying at home, I'm glad with this "walking" outing.. hahaha!

I remember last year I had a "quiet" birthday celebration. haha! And time flys, its another year already.

Yesterday, my campmates and I went to Lot1 to have Sushi buffet.. to my surprise, they bought me present! haha.. happy LOL! And before Vitaya went off early to meet his friends, he went back up to look for us with a cake.. I'm touched la..haha! =) They are fun loving friends, and not to forget one of them wrote a "love letter" to next table, a group of girls. It was a crappy incident but I enjoyed my lunch with them. Dog Platoon rocks!

Thanks to Sherwin and Andre, they knew my mp3 spolit long ago.. and they bought a mp3 for me. Cool! I can listen to songs when on the way to camp.. Not a boring trip anymore. =)

Thanks to Keith, I went out together with him, his girlfriend and brother at Vivo to catch a funny movie, Tropic Thunder. I hope Dave's problem is settled soon, and meet up with him soon.

Tomorrow, I got to go school early and guess what I'm meeting Ende for lunch!


i took leaves till 3rd Nov.. I will miss my dog. And exams is coming real soon, this breaktime I have to spend more time to study and submit one of my individual assignment.

Advance birthdays...

Last wednesday, we (Jimmy, Andy, Shin Min and Jin Jing) went for dinner at IMM, Ajitei.

They gave me a surprise by putting a box of cakes inside a outdoor bag.

haha! Jin Jing asked me to take a look at the bag.. Later on, I found out that the bag was actually my birthday present.. THANKS!

They knew that I was using my bag to go camp and school. 2 in 1 bag.. My clothes was quite smelly and dirty. And I carried to school! eeee... ya, doesn't look good.

All this time

After 15 October.. It will be my one year mark in my camp as a dog handler. And I'm waiting for my ORD date, 26 July 2009! Long way to go..

Last friday, I went out with my campmates, the same batch guys 6 of us celebrate my birthday in advance. Sorry I didn't ask the rest of my campmates because I don't have so much money to treat the whole platoon 26 people. haha! And some got to do duty on that night.

I was in school for the whole yesterday. I took a leave and study with Jin Jing and Michelle. Both girls are studying hard in UOL. Jia you! And night time I got marketing lesson.

Assignments submission is round the corner..

Andy, Jimmy and Leslie.. we will meet up after my examination. =)

I met a girl in my class, funny thing was she asked me why I didn't sign on?! haha.. I'm just a nsf not regular.

Later I'm going out with my family to Kusu island.. a temple located at there, anyone heard before. I will go there every year during this month.

Hi World!

Let see how much I can remember what's the stuff I went through for the past two weeks..

Finally we got jimmy a birthday present! Its a shirt from freshbox, he went to bugis with us. =)

Bessie went to overseas studies. I couldn't meet her before she left because she was not feeling well on that day we supposed to meet. All the best for your studies. =)

I'm very lucky to have another person joining my group project. Last week, I wrote a thread on the school's forum.. it remains me in the past of being a forum adminstrator job, but actually is to just creating more topics to attract viewer to join the forum. haha! crap right.

And now at least the workload of my marketing mix assignment is not that tough. And ryan said was true, in this world being a successor is not depend on individual work but is to have networking skills.. meaning get to know more friends and learn from them.

Leslie when can meet up again?! haha.. I will be busy for this coming weeks till mid november?! wow.. soooo long.

This morning I went back to school with brother to get on with my assignment.

Actually I just came back from wedding dinner. It was my God father = Mum's 2nd brother's only son wedding. Long time didn't go for wedding dinner.. haha! And guess what my aunties are asking my brother when is your turn to get married! haha.. yes, time flys.. brother jia you! =)

Family took cab back home and I walked to the nearest mrt station to go home. Because 5 persons, cannot take normal cab.. its by law.

Actually, I like walking along the streets alone..to relax my mind.

Back to Jurong East at Mcdonald to eat supper, I saw yan wen! And I got to meet up with her boyfriend. She looked silm. =)

And Teck Yong and gangs were just few tables away from me! Long time didn't see them.. So happy... haha! What a great weekend isn't it. =)

Cool stuff was ANDRE went to watch F1 qualifying race just now! I want to see the pictures he took.. hahaha!

One week break

Let me summarise what I did in this one week school term break.

Yesterday morning, last minute I didn't went for go kart session at malaysia.. due to some family matters.

I went to camp everyday..because I want to save my annual leaves, examination is coming in november!

Si Sheng's big day is today! Happy 21st birthday.. Yesterday most of us went to his chalet at downtown east. I was his first campmate to reach pasir ris, haha! the whole afternoon nothing to do, and I went to jurong point to exchange back RM dollars to S$. And I took the mrt from west to east.

Actually, it was my first to go downtown east chalet, a new discovery. lol! There were almost 60 people turned up for his big day. Wow! that's alot. Birthday cake was nice and declicious. And the whole platoon sang birthday songs out loud! haha.. the people around us were looking at us.. haha! Hopefully, I can get some of his birthday party's photos.

It was already 12am plus last night, night was still young. We decided to go Kbox to sing, and they are really good singers! Si Sheng, Bryan, Andre, Michael and Mr Lau Bao Hua.. Superstars contest.. haha!

3am kbox closed, we went back to the chalet's bbq pit to chat.. And Andre, Bryan, Si Sheng and I shared cab travel back to jurong. I reached home at about 5am! Long time didn't reach home sooo late. It just like I having duty in camp. =)

I hope Si Sheng like his 21st birthday present! from Tengah Airbase Dog Platoon, FDS. =)

Soccer game on tuesday night

Jusr now I told my mum white lies..haha!

Mummy, I'm going out to meet my girlfriend.

Actually, I went to Singapore Power Club to play soccer. LOL! If I told my mum I going to play soccer, she will sure nag at me.

After more than one month that I didn't touch on football, I still managed to score to goals! hahaha.. too proud, but thanks to my teammates la, they gave nice passes. =)

Nice games! but I think I injured my right ankle, that Mr Simon tackled me from the back. Please let me forget the pain.

To my surprise, I was playing soccer with Cheng Ding An!!! The director of Kallang Roar, the singapore movie. I didn't know it till I went to Bishan for my supper, friends told me.

I notice that every tuesday's games have many players who are film maker.. cool stuff!
