Bye Swensen's, Hello Häagen-Dazs.

Yest after sch, I went to meet Leslie at Dover Mrt station. We were ready to go to our new Häagen-Dazs company HQ at Orchard near Hard Rock cafe.

The place looks good.. and the admin staff has gave us some document to sign, passed us our uniform. Well, the clothes are almost white in colour. Scooping of ice cream must be careful wor, if not sure veri dirty.

After getting our uniform, we came out of the building.. it started to rain! haha.. tis shows tat god telling us to start from a beginning in tis new job. We went to a nearby Mcdonald to rest and read abt the documents.. We decided to have our dinner at Marina Square, I bought Leslie to Fin's resturant.. it was a small resturant but the food is marvellous. LOL! Coz mayb I love seafood.

I reached hm at abt 7.30pm. Call it a day..

And 2day, I have to continue wif my other assignment..BRCOM! Jia you..

After my extra lesson, I went NP to find Leslie.. he has his trail NAFA test b4 going to Army. Impressive! He did 17 pull up. =) I spent 3hrs sitting at the grand stand, looking at ppl running at the track.

I went to meet up wif the other four funny friends... Andy, Jimmy, Michelle and Jin Jing. I found lot of fun when I was wif them.. and every meeting, they brought happiness to me.

I reached hm quite late..and my mum has prepared some food for me. Wow! lucky.. and 27 July is the date for me to pay my sch fee. I felt veri sori becoz i didn't told my parents earlier to give me the money to pay the fee. Last min, I went to the nearby bank deposit machine to bank in the money.. guess you guys knw, my bank didn't have enough money for the sch fee.LOL!

Peanut Butter

Next friday, it will be my last presentation in Singapore Poly. My teammates and I will have our preparation before friday, 4pm sharp.

Hopefully, I will not make the same mistakes again. Coz previous presentation I did badly. Tis time I will wear white formal wear again? or blue, grey?!

Hmm.. juz nw when I was taking a nap, Leslie called me. I was blur! I was in the dreamland.. I told leslie my dream words..haha! sori ar.. lucky, he knw I was blur. LOL! I guessed I too stress liao la, I told him abt my assignment tinks.

Right nw, I have to concentrate on my other assignment, BRCOM. I have to read through my textbook again.. if not don knw hw to start doing. And not to 4get to thanks Jimmy for helping me finding the source code for the encryption password. Yeah! its works! THANKS!

[Dave] Wei Jing's 21st Birthday..

His birthday is on 24th July Monday. Keith, me and his gf [Rain] decided to celebrate his birthday early coz Monday..i tink he has to stay in camp.

In the evening.. Dave, rain and I meet up go IMM to buy the stuff for BBQ. After tat, they went to my hse to prepare the food. And Keith finished his work, he came to join us.

hahaha! We have funny ideas to BBQ at my hse downstairs Badmintion court.. Dave bought a "BBQ metal pit" for juz 20bucks. 11pm we starts BBQ.. and the people was looking at us. We felt veri paiseh but at the same time..it was fun. A special celebration for Dave's 21 birthday.

After the celebration..areali 3am. Haiz, I still have to do my task for my final year project. My busy saturday.

Madness Day! hahahaha...

Yest my class ended at 5.30pm.. and I went to Mrt station to meet Leslie and Jin Jing.. 2gether wif Jimmy and Michelle oso, we decided to go North Point Swensen's to disturb Azean.. LOL!

Azean was one of my manager in Swensen's JP and recently she was transferred to North Point outlet. Btw we bought a "sexy" gift for her. LOL!

We took some photos and ate Ice Cream.. missed the days I scoop the sundaes.. We had a great time at North Point wif Azean.

After tat, it was abt 10pm areali.. everyone decided to call it a day. However, for me I had decided to go to Dave's hse wif keith. Both of them wants to play the PS2.. ok, I'm not interested wif the game. And while they were playing, I do my assignment task. The night was fun, we ordered Mcdonald to eat and listening to music.. Dave and Keith shouted here and there coz they were too excited wif the game they played! hahaha..

Veri happy tat Keith and Dave had quit smoking.. =)
I managed to finish my task at abt 3am.. I went to slp like a pig, too tired. The two guys continued playing till tis morning..

After tis post.. I have to go sch liao, 2day my team will be meeting our project client to let him see the system. I have abit of rest onli! My madness day..hahaha! but it was fun.

I had went for my attachment company's interview at Outram. The place is small but inside there are many talented IT staff at there. The company is purely on IT and not other stuff like business.

I was the second one to get interview by the Human Resource dept, Jolie. She is friendly and she asked alot of qns abt my life and interest. Shocked tat, she asked onli a few qns abt my IT knowledge. Oops! good or bad news have to wait for the reply email.

Well, hopefully.. I can get in to tis company. I believed I can learn alot of tinks from there. And no jokes..all serious work. Also, not to 4get my friend Jeremy and Mymt Mymt Mon will get selected too. =)


A few of my friends have some problems in their love relationship and family. I hope tat they will happy and 4get the sad tinks..oways look on the bright side of your life.

Not my day.

2day, alot of unhappy tinks happened to me. It was not my day... morning I juz woke up, quarrelled wif my brother.. When I reached sch, I felt sorry becoz I had done Jasleen tasks without asking whether she wants to do anot..

The story goes like tis, Asst Leader assigned Jas, CF and me to do 14 functions of the project. CF and me were online tat day and we had choose the functions we wants to do. The rest of the task is given to Jasleen. I should wait for jas to reply me..it will be fair to her ya. Sorry, I apologised to u..don angry ok.

The whole day I felt veri tired, when I reached hm.. I slp from 6pm to 10pm. Jimmy called me to join him plus Jin Jing, Michelle and Yun to have a supper at Bukit Timah. Ya, after I finished some of my report..I went out with them. Yun drove us to have supper den bring us to a veri "messy" place to see gays. hahaha! Changi Village. Yup, I saw alot of gays at there.. no comments..abit scare of them, they dress like a girl but when you listened to their voice! oh my god.. Hmmm.. thanks to Yun and friends, its my 1st time to go there look at those ppl.

On the way hm.. inside the car, i opened the window and look at the sky..tinking tat many sad tinks has happened today..my wish is tat hope I have a better day 2moro. Deep in thoughts, its my fault to quarrelled wif my brother..my mum was veri angry abt me and also sorry to jas. Hopefully, they will forgive me.

Oh ya, I have received an email from my school..abt the attachment during my next semester. And tis coming wed..I having an interview at the Company called Archer Logic Pte Ltd. The place is at Neil Road near Outram Mrt Station I guess..

My Teen's Life in Swensen's JP has ended.

I have quit my job as a Customer Service Representative at Swensen's on 12 July 2006.
I oso cant believe tat i worked so long at there. From 26 Oct 2002 to 27 Dec 2002, 16 Dec 2003 to 12 July 2006.

haha! ya, I still remembered when I started working at Swensen's. I have many great memories. I have a wonderful time and I learn alot of things. How to handle angry customers?! Manager told me b4, Hungry customers = Angry customers.

I made alot of friends at there. Both young adults and old people..haha! I like my Chef alot..His nicknamed is Lau Pan. Whenever there is no food left behind, he will cook some extra dishes for me. A caring and understanding friend I have. Of course, there was sad moments at work. 2day tis post is so called my story at Swensen's JP.



Good..

3yrs ago.. Among all the staff, I got most of the compliment letters from customers.
I have my own regular customers...haha! I can still remember wht they likes to eat..and they will oways tell jokes to me.
Have served couples of TCS artist b4...like the girl who got Golden Horse Award from the movie Home Run.
I have went to several outlets to help out.. it is good becoz I can learn hw they managed the places. Places like Sun Tec, Marina Square,
Bishan Junction 8, West Mall, Crown Prince Hotel and Bugis Junction.
My record time to scoop a banana split sundae is 35 sec.
I got Nominated for Excellent Service Award in 2006.
I got a compliment letter from email to Swensen's HQ and got praised by Managers.. =)
I learnt hw to cook at Swensen's too.. when not busy, I cooked baked rice and some deep fried food.

A qualified Fountain Staff in April 2004.
Swensen's JP got 2nd place among 23 outlets in 2004 on Sales, Service and Cost.

Bad..

I got a complaint letter sent to Swensen's HQ.. my fault was I didn't inform properly tat the voucher can be used on tat day.
I injured my hand abt three times during work. Once I was sent to Hospital to have a X-ray.. luckily nothing serious.
Customers laughed at me when I didn't speck correct english language.. veri pai seh tat time.
Throw temper at a supervisor.. and she cried in front of me. Oops! I shouldn't do tat. haiz.. hot temper.
My fountain place is oways dirty.. oways supervisor need to clean the place again.
One time, I fall down badly in front of the customers.. and it was a mess becoz four dishes on my hand had fallen! =(
Got burned by Waffle and Coffee Machine couple of times.
There are many bad tinks la.. I too action la, cant reali remember most of it.


First, tok abt my Restaurant Manager, Sir Frankie. He give me hope and he trusted me alot.. letting a small guy like me to be a fountain staff. He taught me hw to handle customers and oso have better relationship btw colleagues. Also, he likes to teach me hw to woo gals..wahaha! Thanks to all the staffs at there...

Even though most of the old birds has left long ago.. I still happy working wif u guys. Happy to work wif dish washer auntie and uncle helping out at the kitchen. I love to listen their stories.. they taught me alot of tinks. In life, I learnt to 4give and 4get..also, hw to be a better man. And shocked tat on my last day working at there.. Kamy had given me a letter and a Mars choc.. =) ya, veri happy and touched.

After so many yrs at there... I still have to learn alot of tinks.. example, to have a better communciation wif my colleagues.
And nw.. I cant stay in fountain to scoop ice cream liao.. I'm a outsider nw. Hopefully, Swensen's will become better each day.

Regardless of wht.. my Swensen's friends.. I will still remember all of u..not to 4get my buddy Leslie.. we worked hard 2gether..and I enjoy every moment working wif u. He is a great staff too, he got service champion award in 2005. Thanks to all.

World Cup Final

tis world cup was an interesting 1 for me. The match kick off at 2am in spore. At 9pm I met Dave and his gf at Somerset. B4 goin to have my dinner, we went to Keith's workplace (Game shop). Keith didn't join us to watch the Final Match. He went to Airport to fetch his brother came back from Thailand. Hahaha! three of us wore Enlgand Jersey. sadly, England is not at the Final. After watching Superman wif them. We went to Muhd Sultan to watch it.


It was my 1st time to go there. Thanks to Dave recommendation. Unluckily, it started to rain after half time. It was an open place. haiz.. after some consideration whether wanna stay anot.. end up we went hm at the beginning of second half. Italy vs France..wht is the final score?!

My luck

I was lucky to pass both Linux practical 1 test and Online test. I didn't do well in my online test but luckily my practical test pull the marks up. Practical 2 test wil be tested at early August.

Well, during BRCOM lecture.. I was abt to fall asleep.. yest nite, chat wif my brother till 4am..haha! and felt tired during classes. My lecturer want to ask student to come out to try a programming question. Oh man! at 1st, all my friends sitting beside me and I hope is one of us.. haiz, I was veri "lucky" she called my name..haha! And I had to do the exercise in front of all the students. Ok la, after lecturer guide me, I managed to finish the exercise.

2day I juz hand up my grp BRCOM part 1 assignment.. thanks to my partner Jeremy. He tested our program for many times b4 passed up to lecturer. He is to confirm there is no programming error in the program. =) part 2 assignment has started and have to hand in on 28 July. tat's veri fast...Jia YOu!!!

Right nw.. I have to continue doing my final year project with my FYP team. And I hardly can work at Swensen's.. too many tinks to do, mayb onli work two days a week.

England had lost in the quarter final game between Portugal.

OH my god! they missed great chances during penalty shoot out.. I have watched all their games and tis game,they didn't reali perform well. Rooney sent off, Beckham injured, Lampard lost form. A great player like Lennon but has no luck to score some beautiful goals.

My hear sank when the final whistle has been blow..or i can say when tat arrogant ronaldo shoot in the penalty.. he is not a professional sportsman! no sportmanship. haiz.. honesty, England don have the luck in tis World Cup.

The whole day i was at Choa Chu Kang, one of the block void deck doing assignments with my grp of friends.. and 10hrs of hardwork..hoping to enjoy watching the England match. But it disappoint me..hopefully Brazil will win?! Hmm.. viewed yan wen's blog, she support Germany..haha! Mayb Germany wins it?! becoz, host nation + their good young players..i believe they oso stand a great chance on winning the World Cup!
