2day..I was working till 5pm. At abt 2.45pm, there is a customer.. holding a stick standing outside the entrance. I was wondering.. hw he knw Jurong point Swensen's is located at the second floor?.. "This place isit Swensen's?" he asked me loudly.. b4 I approached to him.
Ya, he is blind. He carried a bag, a chair and of course a metal stick.
At first, I thought tat he was a rude and unfriendly guy, however.. when he hold on to me at on my shoulder..1st tink in my mind is to help him. He is veri cheerful and speck well in english. He wanted to buy ice cream with cone. He asked me alot of qns abt the ice cream and the current promotion. Minutes later, I hold his arm to the nearest seats for him to rest. Ice water was served to him. We started to chat..haha! And I was worried abt my work becoz I was on duty.. But thanks to my managers..they allowed me to have a chat with him.. I almost chat wif him for abt 1 hr.
He bought a double scoop cone ice cream.. and I secretly gave him a cup of drink, tat will be available on 12 april..our new promotion..haha!
While we will chatting happily, he wanted to go the washroom.. he wants to do "big business". I hold his arm to the washroom..and wait outside. When he come out, he asked me a qn. "Do you feel contented in ur life?!"
Of course..I said! his named is Kevin. And guess wht! He went for Superstar audition b4, no wonder he looked familiar..I saw him in the show b4. Well, believe it anot Superstar singer,Kelvin is his friend.. he told me, and he is goin to watch his concert soon.
He is a smart guy, even though he don have all the 5 senses but I can sae he is a capable guy. He tell me alot of tinks abt music, his work and.. he asked me abt the places he wish to go. He like swimming pool..and ICE CREAM! haha..
I had a great time in the afternoon wif him.. b4 he left, 2gether wif leslie..we brought him down the escalator. Feel free.. come Swensen's and find me.. I told him. And He walked alone along the shops.. 1 word to describe him.. Kevin, you are a BRAVE guy. =)
